Vertebral Body Stent System adopts expandable metallic stents deployed within collapsed vertebral bodies to restore and maintain vertebral height. It reconstructs vertebral anatomy via mechanical support structure and creates a dedicated cavity for spinal bone cement injection, which is indicated for the treatment of Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fractures (OVCF).
Percutaneous Puncture:The stent can be implanted percutaneously into the vertebral body with a single puncture incision for placement of the access device (as in PKP & PVP).
Reconstruction:VBS system reconstruct the lost height of the fractured vertebrae.
Maintain Vertebral Height:Expansion of the vertebral body support within the collapsed vertebral body restores and maintains the height of the vertebral body. Mechanically restores the height of the vertebral body while providing a cavity for the injection of spinal cement.
Metal bracket is made of Co-Cr-W-Ni alloy material with excellent ductility and high pressure resistance.
