Percutaneous Vertebroplasty (PVP)
It started in France in 1987 and was used to treat vertebral tumors in the United States in 1997, followed by extension treatment of osteoporotic compression fractures.
Method: Under the guidance of C-arm or CT, a special trocar was inserted percutaneously through the pedicle to the front edge of the midline of the compressed fracture vertebral body, and bone cement was injected under pressure.

Percutaneous Kyphoplasty (PKP)

Indications and Contraindications
